E9 enables emergency services get accurate information on people who are involved in accidents or in an emergency situation and may not be able to talk for themselves.

The emergency services need to know where the person is, who they are helping and who to contact in an emergency.

In many countries the Police have systems which assists them in immediately identifying the person/people that they are assisting, and who to contact, all via a computer in their vehicles.

With the absence of such systems in South Africa, the concept of E9 was developed as one, in an emergency, would like to know that one’s family would be assisted in the fastest possible time and that the emergency services will provide the necessary medical or security services linked to E9.

• A photo, personal information and tri-angulated POSITION of the person in trouble are immediately logged and provided.
• Friends and family set-up by the user are also immediately notified.
• An SMS is sent immediately back to the distress call mobile phone with key information to assists security and medical personnel.
